How do I know that counselling is for me?

If you’re not sure whether counselling is right for you then it can help to come along for an initial session to get a feel for how it works. There is no charge for this initial meeting and no obligation to book another session if you decide that it’s not for you.


What sort of issues do people come to counselling for?

People come to counselling to explore whatever they feel stuck or unhappy about. Some examples of the type of issues that people bring are:

What times do you work?

We offer both daytime and evening appointments with our last appointment at around 7.30pm. We also work some Saturday mornings.

How much does it cost?

A counselling session lasts for one hour and costs £40 for individual counselling and £50 for couples.

How often will I need to come?

This is really up to you although generally people choose to come on a weekly basis. It often depends on how you are feeling and the issues that you bring to counselling.
